Cultural centers have free visits for children up to 10 years old
Manaus (AM) – Cultural spaces managed by the State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, will operate at different times this January due to school holidays with free entry.
At the Amazon Theater, visits take place from 9am to 3pm, from Tuesday to Saturday. On Sundays and holidays, the space is open for visitors from 9am to 1pm. Children up to 10 years old, people with disabilities and people born in Amazon Entrance is free, upon receipt. For others, tickets are available at the space’s box office, priced at R$20 (full price) and R$10 (half price) for students, people over 60 years old, teachers, blood donors, military personnel and companions of people with disabilities, upon presentation of documents.
A Largo Gallerylocated in Largo de São Sebastião, opens normally, from 3pm to 8pm. Casa das Artes, also in Largo, remains open with the nativity scene exhibition “A Night of Hope” until January 6th, from 5pm to 9pm.
O Provincial Palace It will be closed for maintenance until January 17th. From the 18th, the cultural space located at Praça Heliodoro Balbi, s/n, Centro, housing the main museums of the State, opens from 9am to 3pm, from Monday to Saturday, except Wednesdays.
Cultural Centers
This month, the Palace of Justice (Av. Eduardo Ribeiro, 901 – Centro), the Rio Negro Palace (Av. Sete de Setembro, 1546 – Centro) and CCultural Entry of the Peoples of the Amazon (Av. Silves, 2.222 – Distrito Industrial l) and the Northern Man Museum (located at the Centro Cultural Povos da Amazônia) will also have different visiting hours, open from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Saturday, except Tuesdays.
A Public Librarylocated at Rua Barroso, 57, Centro, open from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm.
O Rubber Museumlocated in the rural area of Manaus, remains closed for an indefinite period, due to the severe drought and its access by river.
