President of the Parliamentary Front in Defense of the Center, councilor Rubinho Nunes (União) managed to approve this Thursday (30) a request to summon Father Julio Lancellotti to provide clarification regarding his work in the Cracolândia region.
The parish priest is known for working with homeless people and drug addicts. Nunes is critical of the priest and says that his actions would help keep the center in a critical situation.
Unlike an invitation, a summons can result in punishment if it is not complied with, such as, for example, future coercive conduct. The councilor scheduled the religious man’s testimony for December 14th.
