Conib (Confederação Israelita do Brasil) notified Meta, owner of Instagram, for a post by actress Letícia Sabatella in which she reproduces false information about the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel.
Sabatella published on Sunday (5) a text citing the pro-Palestine website Electronicintifada.net as a source.
“Most of the Israeli civilians killed in the Hamas terrorist attack on 10/7/23 were shot by Israeli soldiers,” says the message, which then mentions the website link.
“Conib (Confederação Israelita do Brasil) notified Meta due to a post by actress Letícia Sabatella promoting fake news. The actress posted a message questioning that Hamas was responsible for the atrocities committed by the terrorist group in the south of Israel”, says the entity, main representative of the Jewish community in Brazil.
On her social network profile, the actress has defended an immediate ceasefire in Israel’s actions against targets in Gaza.
