Although Raízen, Vibra and Ipiranga dominate 59% of the fuel distribution market in the country, the chains that serve white flag stations took a 4% share of the leaders this year.

According to the ANP (National Petroleum Agency), the participation of the three largest suffered a cumulative drop between January and November this year — it was 63%, in the same period of 2022, and fell to 59% this year.

The difference (a 4% share of the market) was the gain recorded by 174 smaller distributors, which supply unbranded gas stations.

In this group, sales rose 15.3% between January and November this year, compared to the same period in 2022, while in branded chains there was a decline of 1.3%.

In volume, the competitors delivered 47.4 billion liters of gasoline, diesel and ethanol to unbranded gas stations. Raízen, Vibra and Ipiranga sold around 70 billion liters.

The best performance of smaller networks occurred in the Northeast, with an increase of 21.6% in the volume of fuels sold. In this region, the three leaders registered a drop of 3.16%.
