Company creates consignment of high-cost medicines – 06/06/2023 – Panel SA

RV Ímola, a company from Guarulhos (SP) with more than a decade of experience in the transport of medicines, opened a new business front: the consignment of very expensive medicines.

The target audience are hospitals and health plans that want to get rid of the heavy expenses involved in the purchase and storage of this category of drugs, whose use is very restricted. Some cost almost R$ 1 million.

The savings generated by the business for this audience is around 40% because, instead of buying them all at once, they only buy the RV when there is demand.

In this first moment, the company operates with drugs used in the treatment of cancer and immunosuppressants.

Another advantage is that hospitals no longer need to negotiate directly with pharmaceutical companies to buy these drugs.

By concentrating purchases, RV now has volume and is able to negotiate better prices with suppliers.

Delivery is made immediately to hospitals.
