Clube Folha Gourmet debuts with benefits for subscribers – 08/24/2023 – Restaurants

This Friday, the 25th, the Clube Folha Gourmet platform debuts. The program, exclusive to Folha subscribers in the premium modality, offers benefits in around 200 restaurants, bars and pastry shops in Greater São Paulo and other municipalities in the state.

Discounts can be accessed on the club’s website. By the end of the year, promotions should extend to Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Paraná and the Federal District. The expectation is to reach 500 locations and move on to other regions. With the new club, the Sheet also starts sending a special newsletter with tips, recipes and culinary itineraries, always on Fridays.

“The goal is to encourage subscribers to live gastronomic experiences and, through this platform, add value to the subscription”, says Anderson Demian, executive director of reader market and digital strategies at Sheet.

Among the participating restaurants are Dasian, focused on oriental cuisine, as well as Bolinha, a reference in feijoada in the city of São Paulo, and Fogo de Chão, the best known steakhouse in the city.

It is possible, for example, to have a 15% discount on 34 units of the La Guapa chain, by chef Paola Carosella. The restaurants specialize in Argentine cuisine and offer empanadas and alfajores, in addition to the famous tabletón —dessert filled with dulce de leche, bitter cocoa, cachaça and vanilla whipped cream.

Some establishments offer discounts of up to 30%. This is the case of Vino!, a wine bar with units in neighborhoods such as Morumbi, Jardim Paulista, Pinheiros, Tatuapé and Vila Leopoldina.

Other houses offer the benefit in the form of a free dessert or drink, or even with the possibility of buying a dish and getting the second one free.

“The club has excellent restaurants. The selection was made with a lot of criteria”, says Demian. “In many cases, with just one use, you can save the subscription amount that the person pays per month.”

The platform even works as a restaurant guide, with photos and descriptions. The subscriber can search by neighborhood or name of the establishment. The options are also divided by gastronomic categories or by type of experience (with your partner or with your family).

In the Brazilian food section, for example, there is Camélia Òdòdó, an organic and healthy restaurant, created by chef Bela Gil, located in Vila Madalena.

In the same category, there are establishments with a northeastern influence, such as Fitó, in Pinheiros, in the western region, and Macaxeira, with five units spread across the metropolitan region.

For lovers of Italian cuisine, there are 11 restaurant options with discounts of up to 30%. Among the highlights are Lolla Osteria, in Brooklin, Basilicata Cucina, in Jardim Paulistano, and Forneria San Paolo, in Vila Olímpia. In the pizza category, there are La Braciera Pizza, in four locations, and Don Marconi, in Moema.

Outside the capital, there are participating establishments in Atibaia, Campinas, Guarulhos, Ilhabela, Mairiporã, Osasco, Ribeirão Preto, Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo, São Caetano do Sul, São José dos Campos, São Sebastião and Sorocaba.

In these places, it is possible to obtain discounts in hamburgers, pastry shops and Brazilian, Italian or healthy gastronomy establishments. Among the options, some of the highlights are Malibu Park, in Santo André, Casa Porteña, in São Caetano, and the soverteria Da Pá Virada, in Ilhabela and on Juquehy beach, in São Sebastião.

As a launch offer, new subscribers can access benefits for R$9.90 per month for the first six months. Afterwards, the value changes to R$ 39.90. The subscription includes access to the newspaper’s content, a digital copy of the printed matter and the possibility of sharing access with up to five people.
