In the possession of the deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Amapá (Alap) of the 2023/2027 legislature, the governor Clecio Luis he asked parliamentarians for unity and consensus in favor of the development of the state, taking advantage of the good moment that Amapa politics is going through. The ceremony took place this Wednesday (1st) at the Nelson Salomão Palace.
“We live in a unique moment, with a series of factors that are blowing a good wind. We cannot miss this opportunity that the people of Amapá and history are giving us. We may not always have unanimity, but we can build consensus.”commented Clecio.
In the speech, he reinforced the new government’s investment priorities: guaranteeing legal and political security; public health with human dignity; strengthening of the economy, infrastructure and logistics; fighting food insecurity; and improve the performance of children and adolescents in schools.
“Education is as important as health, as it is to assuage people’s hunger, but it has another strategic agenda, which is to develop our state. And creating consensus means that we have to have the support of the Assembly, the Judiciary, the Public Ministry, with political and legal security, which is what entrepreneurs are eager to be able to invest in Amapá”highlighted the governor.
Clecio Luis attended the ceremony accompanied by the First Lady, Priscilla Flores, of the lieutenant governor Teles Junior and the technical team of the Government.

24 state deputies were sworn in, of which 14 were already active in the previous legislature and were kept in the House for the next 4 years. Of the total, 7 women were sworn in as deputies – one less than in the 2019/2023 legislature.
Delegate Ignatius (PDT), elected for the first time as a state deputy, he was the most voted in the 2022 election and spoke on behalf of the parliamentarians. He stated that the House’s performance should be united and critically.

the president of Alap, Kaka Barbosa (PL), was sworn in for the 6th time for the position and reiterated that parliamentarians have an obligation to legislate for better conditions for those who live in Amapá.
“Today we see a House with representatives from many municipalities. Here is the people’s house and the deputies are here to help the people. I have already seen that the government has been committed to developing the state, to improving health. Rest assured, Governor, that this House will act for the benefit of Amapá, in whatever way it takes to improve the state.”declared the parliamentarian.
According to the Internal Regulations of the House, after being sworn in, the deputies must still elect the new Board of Directors. The election was scheduled for Thursday (2).
