The work, announced this Thursday, is part of a state government project to integrate the Aturiá waterfront, on the banks of the Amazon River, into the Meio do Mundo Complex.
The first part of the project, the retaining wall, was completed during the last administration of the current minister of integration and regional development, Waldez Góes, as governor of the state.
Clecio promised to deliver the second part of the project in April, which is the housing complex in Vila dos Oliveiras, to house displaced families from Aturiá itself and neighboring Araxá.
The third part, according to the governor, will be the most beautiful stretch of Macapá’s coastline and that from today onwards will be cleaned, drained and earthworked.
