In addition to the presentations at the theater in Manaus, the “Floating Experience” will also be taken to two schools in Manaus and will also be shown in Belém, Pará

Manaus (AM) — “The idea of the circus show was wonderful. It is very unusual to see performances like this, with a theatrical show, but with circus techniques”, this was the assessment of Inear Dambarr, who attended the “Floating Experience — Acrobatic Show”, the first premiere of Companhia Circo Caboclo this year, in Manaus .

The debut of the independent company that year featured a show with aerial acrobatics, dancing, live music and stage acting, with moments of tension and surprises. With a full house, the presentation was held, between the 24th and 25th of this month, at the Teatro da Instalation, in the center of the capital of Amazonas.

The cast includes acrobats Jean Winder and Laís Silva, music by Alexandre da Amazônia, Cícero Benedito and Wilkerson Lima, lighting by Daniel Ferrat, with production by Jean Winder and Amanda Magaiver (Manaus), in addition to Yure Lee (Belém). Cícero Benedito also as a videomaker and photographer.

In addition to the presentations at the theater in Manaus, the “Floating Experience” will also be taken to two schools in Manaus, this Monday (27th) and Tuesday (28th), where circus art will be discussed with students. In March, the show will be presented in Belém, Pará.

According to the acrobat and one of the show’s producers, Jean Winder, the two performances were a dialogue between the public and the artists. After the first exhibitions, the acrobat says that some elements will be improved for the next presentations.

“The presentations exceeded our expectations. The public left very satisfied, happy to have seen it. We received feedback from many people, some sent messages saying that it was the first time they had attended a show in a theater. For us, it was very gratifying to be able to understand that the message is getting through. It’s an experience for both us and the audience, it was worth making it happen. We are very happy to have debuted. Finally, we opened it so that more people can follow, can see, participate in this trajectory of ours, mainly in our trajectory of artistic production”,

explains Jean Winder.

The “Floating Experience — Acrobatic Show” is sponsored by Banco da Amazônia. With the support of the Federal University of Amazonas (Ufam), the Dance, Circus Activities and Gymnastics Program (Prodagin) and Studio W, a musical instrument studio that unites sustainability and passion for music.

“I considered the live sound very welcome for the intention of the show. Presentations with circus elements are not so common here in Manaus”,

says Inear Dambarr, who attended the circus show last Saturday (25).

Family circus experience

Circo Caboclo’s authorial show had a varied audience, including artists, lovers of local culture and families who went to the Manaus theater to honor the circus performance.

With the aim of encouraging his children to focus on local culture, Daniel Alves took his sons Daniel Filho, 9 years old, and Emanuel, 5 years old, to watch the Circo Caboclo Company circus show.

“Bringing children to a circus show is very important. It’s something that caught the attention of the kids a lot. There were indigenous elements in the presentation, I really liked it and I think it is very important for culture, for our roots, which involve indigenous culture. They [as crianças] they took advantage and stayed the whole time paying attention. They paid so much attention that one of my children jumped to his feet. We try to take the children to honor a little of our culture. My wife is also very connected to culture, especially black culture. We try to create prestige and culture in our children, it is a daily struggle”,

said.
