Manaus (AM) — The poster at CineMaterna, this Tuesday (20), is the feature film “Minha Irmã e Eu”, a Brazilian comedy starring Ingrid Guimarães and Tatá Werneck. The special session at Shopping Ponta Negra starts at 2pm, especially for moms, dads and babies up to 18 months.

Children over 18 months and companions are welcome! Check whether the film’s rating is appropriate for the age group.

The first ten families with babies up to 18 months receive free access. It is limited to one courtesy per baby for use by one adult: mother, father or guardian. Babies up to 2 years old participate free of charge. Once amenities are exhausted, other families and companions can purchase their tickets at the box office or cinema totems.

“It’s a very different experience for parents and babies. In addition to enjoying the film, parents can provide any assistance their children need because the rooms will be equipped with diapers, wet wipes, parking for strollers and care is taken to create that special environment for the baby, with adapted temperature and lighting.” ,

highlights the Marketing Manager of Shopping Ponta Negra, Priscila Furtado.

In addition to the changing tables, the cinema room is also adapted with a mat for babies who are already crawling or walking.

Shopping Ponta Negra explains that the films are chosen by families registered on the CineMaterna website through voting in polls. Polls are open from Thursday to Sunday. The result of the vote is published on the website, on the Thursday before the session, so that everyone can plan in time to participate.

In 2024, the goal of the project in Manaus is to provide 2,400 moms, dads and babies with the possibility of watching cinema releases for free.
