Chamber makes deal for MPs with Boulos defeat – 04/13/2023 – Politics

The leaders of the Chamber defined this Thursday (13) the parliamentarians who will report the MPs (provisional measures) that recreate Minha Casa, Minha Vida and Bolsa Família, in a defeat for PSOL leader, Guilherme Boulos (SP) .

Without an agreement, the deputy had been assigned to report the MP from Minha Casa, Minha Vida last Tuesday (11) – which irritated parliamentarians from União Brasil, who claimed that there was an understanding in the House for the rapporteur to be a deputy of the party.

“There was a problem of misunderstanding of information. To facilitate the understanding for the commission to move forward, there was an agreement and I will not be the rapporteur for Minha Casa, Minha Vida”, he added.

The leader of União Brasil, Elmar Nascimento (BA), confirmed that the rapporteur will be deputy Fernando Marangoni (União Brasil-SP).

“It is clear and understandable that I defend the interests of my party. I apologize if at some point I extrapolated in defense of these understandings”, said Elmar.

On Wednesday afternoon (12), the leader of União Brasil raised the tone against Boulos, saying he expected him to resign from his position. Elmar stated that the homeless leader acted in “bad faith” and did not rule out calling the Ethics Council.
