After its traditional soup festival, Ceagesp begins the festival dedicated to fish and seafood at the warehouse in Vila Leopoldina, west of the capital of São Paulo.
You pay R$139.90 to eat as much as you want from around 60 menu items, which varies each week. The event, held ten years ago, continues until December 23, from Wednesday to Sunday.
The prawns are served at the table and can be tried roasted, breaded in panko flour, crispy with tartar sauce and stuffed with catupiry. The giant paella à marinera is another highlight of the gastronomic event.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, oysters are served. On Thursdays there is crab, on Fridays there is crab lobster au gratin, and on Sundays the special dish is pasta with shrimp and parmesan.
A salad buffet, freshly prepared risottos and varied dishes made with fish are other recipes on the menu.
Drinks and desserts are charged separately. Children up to five years old do not pay to enter the festival, and those aged six to ten pay half price.
