the calendar of Brazilian Futsal Teams for 2023 was released by CBF this Thursday (26). The modality coordinator at CBF, Lavoisier Freire, presented the plan for the season at an event held at House of Brazilian Football.
THE Main Men’s Selection will have a full year. The schedule has five FIFA Dates with international friendlies and the first of them will be against Uzbekistan between February 27th and March 6th. In April, the team goes to England for two friendlies against Spain. The team still plays in the Futsal Nations Cup in September.
The Women’s Senior National Team kicks off 2023 with two friendlies against Spain in March. Next, it competes in the Xanxerê International Tournament. The Copa America takes place between the 24th of September and the 1st of October in Argentina. The season will end in November with two friendlies, with the venue under review.
In the base categories, the U-20 and U-17 Men are preparing to compete in the South American Championship. As for the Sub-15, the fundraising project is planned in the Northeast region of the country. The Women’s Sub-20 starts in June with the Women’s Challenger and ends in November with two friendlies.
