CBF denies information that Ancelotti will be the new coach of the national team – News of Brazil

The CBF published an official note earlier this Friday afternoon (10), denying the information that the Italian Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, would be the new commander of the Brazilian men’s soccer team. Early in the morning, the subject led the social networks after an ESPN report stating a possible agreement between Ancelotti and the CBF.
In the statement, the organization reiterated the statements made by President Ednaldo Rodrigues last Wednesday (8), when he “discarded speculation, saying that the matter is dealt with in a transparent manner and that the coach chosen will be announced in due time”.
This is the second time that the CBF issues a statement denying the hiring of Ancelotti, 63, who has titles in the five main leagues on the European continent: LaLiga (Spain), Premier League (England), Serie A (Italy), Bundesliga (Germany) and Ligue 1 (France). On December 12 of last year, the entity “disauthorizes anyone to speak on behalf of the entity on the subject”. Seven days later, the Real Madrid coach himself stated that he intends to stay with the Meringue club until the end of his current contract, on June 30, 2024.
