Carnival in times of laceration, cancellations, censorship is not carnival

Carnival is a party of pagan origin. Should I be segregationist? Why only drunks and deviants have room in the revelry? Should not grandpa and grandma dressed as pirates and columbines, with their grandchildren wearing headdresses and painted faces, still have the right to have fun? Are families not welcome?

Why can’t wives, in healthy marriages, lend their makeup, accessories, bras, skirts or aprons to their husbands to parade in the “girls” blocks? Why can they no longer enjoy their husbands’ mess in peace, without the murderous gazes of feminists?

False empaths will say that the thought police, more than present at the revelry, work towards respect for others and acceptance of differences. We know very well, however, that only those who think and act in the same way are accepted at the party.

Carnival of thugs back at the scene of the crime

Today, it is depressing to face the mob eager for full debauchery in the open. Most, when not practicing, accept promiscuity in broad daylight as “my body, my rules.” Screw what is in the law or what logic, the rules of good coexistence and even doctors say!

preach yourself bullying, persecution, hatred and even imprisonment for those who dare not follow the booklet or question what they consider “freedom” and “politically correct”. They don’t understand that having sex or physiological needs on the street, in front of everyone, is neither “politically” nor legally acceptable.

Even for the resigned, who tolerate seeing the revelry turned into turmoil, it becomes dangerous to dress up and go out playing in the streets. Will someone understand that his fantasy offends him and decide to formally denounce him?

Have you ever thought about having to defend yourself for having despised “original peoples”, “gender fluid” or who knows what else? Is there still real fun at carnival? Is there purpose? What exactly is the origin of the party?

It’s a shame that street carnivals have been contaminated by the lacração gang, who love to judge others and point the angry finger, accusing everyone of lack of empathy, cultural appropriation, prejudice, intolerance or any other of those “crimes” that exist more in their authoritative minds than in real life.

On this Carnival Monday (20), the Second Opinion Program debates the changes that took place in street carnivals and in the parades of samba schools to give way to the so-called culture wokand the “progressive” ideology that invaded and appropriated the most popular of Brazilian parties.

What impact did that have on the revelry that rocked so many generations? Does anyone still remember the lyrics of the old marks? How would the stanzas that spoke of Maria Sapatão, of Zezé and his hair, of the Indians who wanted a whistle be sung, in the age of the thought police? Is Amelia still a real woman?

Specialists in virtue false signals; extremists of individualism; members of the “more love, please” block parade through the streets at will, in the carnival of bandits who returned to the scene of the crime, with the endorsement of a considerable part of the press and a condescending wing of society.

The elderly, children, entire families, who still want to have fun without seeing the streets transformed into huge public bathrooms or open-air motels, take refuge at the rare club parties. There are those who promote smaller revelries, in petit committee, at home. It’s what’s left to not let the real carnival die.
