The fighter from Rio de Janeiro, Hyago “BRT” Silva, will compete for the heavyweight belt (up to 120 kg) of the North American MMA event Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA), on the next 10th, in an edition to be held in the municipality of Cajamar in São Paulo.
With 117 kilos, the carioca from Complexo da Maré has a record of six wins and one draw – he has never lost. Half of his triumphs were by knockout. Ahead, he will have Eduardo “Bbzão” from Paraíba.
“The nickname ‘BRT’ comes because of my weight and also because of the power I have in hurting anyone who comes up against me in a fight”, explained the fighter. “I’m prepared to fight five rounds and get the belt”.
The LFA is the MMA league that sends the most fighters to the biggest MMA event on the planet, the UFC. That is, if everything works out for Hyago “BRT” on the day of the fight and he becomes champion, he is approaching a contract that could change his life.
The event will be broadcast live across Brazil and over 200 other countries via the UFC Fight Pass streaming platform. Hyago “BRT”‘s fight against Eduardo “Bbzão” is the penultimate fight of the edition.
In the main event, two other Rio de Janeiro natives will compete for the middleweight title (up to 84 kg). Standing specialists Jansey “Jones” Silva and Lucas Fernando face off in a match that has everything to be one of the best of the night.
