Calleri scores twice in São Paulo’s thrashing of Santos

São Paulo was not aware of Santos and won the classic San-São, by 4 to 1, this Sunday (16), at Morumbi, in a game of the 15th round of the Brazilian Championship.
Tricolor Paulista’s goals were scored twice by Calleri, David and Alexandre Pato. Marcos Leonardo cashed, from the penalty spot, for Peixe.
With the thrashing in the classic, São Paulo reached 25 points and entered the fight for the G4 for good. Santos, on the other hand, parked at 16 points and remains in the second half of the table.
Tricolor Paulista returns to the field against Cuiabá, away from home, on Saturday (22), at 6:30 pm (from Brasilia). Peixe receives the leader Botafogo, on Sunday (23), at 4 pm, in Vila Belmiro.
The game
Playing at home, Tricolor Paulista started at the beginning of the first half, but found it difficult to find spaces in the Santos defense. The first capital bid came out only in the 21st minute.
After a free kick, Calleri was knocked down by Joaquim in the area, and the referee awarded a penalty. In the penalty kick, the Argentine himself opened the scoring for São Paulo.
