The deadline to register for the Caixa Econômica Federal public competition with 4,050 places for secondary education ends this Monday (25). The number of participants has already reached 1.3 million.

Registration must be made on the Cesgranrio Foundation website, available at this link. Of the total, 593 thousand had confirmation of participation by paying the fee or obtaining an exemption provided by law.

The registration fee is R$50 for mid-level positions and R$65 for higher-level positions.

Among the four positions offered in the competition, new banking technician, with 2,000 vacancies offered, has the highest candidate/vacancy ratio, with 266 currents per vacancy available. To occupy the position, it is necessary to have a secondary education. The remuneration offered is R$3,762.

The selection will have 4,000 mid-level vacancies for the banking and technology areas. For higher education, there will be 50 chances in the areas of health and engineering. The competition will still have reservation registration.

Among the mid-level vacancies, in addition to 2,000 for new banking technicians, the competition offers 2,000 for technicians in the technology area, the second position with the highest number of applicants.

In total, there are 106,564 applications and 55,922 confirmed for the role, respectively, with a candidate/vacancy ratio of around 27. For this position, the starting remuneration is R$3,762.

For higher level positions, the candidate/vacancy ratio does not exceed 200 participants per vacancy. The opportunities are for the role of occupational physician and occupational safety engineer.

The position of occupational safety engineer, with 22 vacancies offered, has 8,036 confirmed applications to date, around 365 participants per vacancy.

For occupational health doctors, with 28 vacancies, the number of applications is 428, with 15 participants per vacancy.

The remuneration offered is R$11,186 for a medical career and R$14,915 for an engineering career.

The candidate/vacancy ratio may change depending on the number of confirmed registrations or if the competition participant is absent on the day of the test, which will be held on May 26th.

For the position of new banking technician, the test cities are linked to the center in which the professional wishes to work, chosen by the candidate at the time of registration.

For information technology vacancies, there is an option for a city where the test will take place other than the center of choice.

Those approved in all positions offered will have benefits such as health care, supplementary pension, PLR (Profit Sharing), food and meal allowances, transportation vouchers, daycare allowances and access to training and development activities.

Those approved will be called from August this year to present documentation and undergo mandatory medical examinations. The competition will be valid for one year, extendable for an equal period, at Caixa’s discretion.
