The first edition of the project, resumed during the parliamentary administration, will take place on March 30th and 31st
Manaus (AM) – With a partnership signed this week, the mayor of Manaus (CMM), councilor Caio André (PSC), and the Federation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of Amazonas (Fecomércio-AM) will work on the project “Câmara Cidadã”, which includes actions and services for the population of the Amazonian capital.
“We are here at Fecomércio creating a partnership with this federation that is so important for the city of Manaus, for the Amazon. The City Council has to be together with those who generate jobs, with those who generate income and with those who provide this work environment for our population, and that is why we have many partnerships from now on”, said the parliamentarian.
The president of Fecomércio-AM, Aderson Frota, said that in addition to the Citizen’s Chamber, the meeting tried to establish partnerships for sporting and cultural events with the support of the Social Service of Commerce (Sesc-AM), developing measures aimed at the population.
“We had a great opportunity to focus on something that concerns the municipality, which is the problem of public safety, the recovery of the Center of Manaus, and this makes us give a positive ‘start’ to this partnership, so that we can develop a series of activities to benefit not only the economy, but specifically the population of Manaus”, explained the president.
Citizen Chamber
The ‘Citizen Chamber’ project was one of the commitments signed by Caio André and will have its first edition on March 30 and 31 (Thursday and Friday), at the Carlos Zamith Municipal Stadium, on Avenida Cosme Ferreira, east of Manaus. More than 20 actions are planned in partnership with municipal agencies and departments.
The idea, according to the president, is to take the Citizen’s Chamber to all areas of the city, including rural and riverside areas, which will have free access to dental, medical, social care, among other areas.
