Brazilian Under-20 team is called up for friendlies in Spain – News of Brazil

A Brazilian Under-20 team was summoned, this Friday (31), for three friendlies that take place between April 15 and 27, in Spain. Coach Ramon Menezes called 23 athletes for the clashes, which will take place in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, in Andalusia. Brazil will face the Dominican Republic, Iraq and, finally, Uzbekistan or Senegal. All teams are classified for the Under-20 World Cup and, with that, the coach seeks to continue the preparation of the group, aiming at the performance in the World Cup.
With regard to the athletes who won the U-20 South American Championship in February, only seven were new: Vinícius Tobias, from Real Madrid; Michel, Giovani and Endrick, from Palmeiras; Kaiky Melo, from Almeria; Marcos Leonardo, from Santos; and Beraldo, from São Paulo.
