The Brazilian Beach Soccer Team is called up for the South American Beach Games, in Colombia. Coach Marco Octavio called up 12 players to compete in the competition, which took place from July 18 to 21. Among the names summoned, João Marcos and Willian, from Sampaio Corrêa; Neto, from ABC/Galinhos-RN; Breno, from SEG-ES; and Fabinho, from Vasco da Gama, missed his debut for Amarelinha.
“We are going to the South American games with an extremely renewed group, but that has my complete confidence. They are players who enjoyed great performances in the last national championships, others who stood out in the Libertadores… We will also have the experience of those who already have complete control over the responsibility of wearing the most successful shirt in world beach soccer. Now it’s about working hard for these athletes to fit in as quickly as possible.”evaluates Marco Octavio.
