Brazil leads the world ranking of most games suspected of match fixing in 2022 with a large advantage. Sportradar, a sports technology company, published a report on suspected manipulation at sporting events around the world in 2022. The survey points out that 775 football matches are suspected of match fixing.
Of the 775 games, 225 took place in South America and 152 were played in Brazil – second in the ranking is Russia, with 92. The second South American country in the ranking is Argentina, with 39, in seventh place.

Football is the sport with the most events with possible manipulation with 775 suspicious matches in 2022. The number represents 63.9% of the entire Sportradar report.
Suspicious matches are usually from lower divisions, with 52% of suspect football matches being from third division or below.
