World champion Argentina remains leader and France is second
FIFA released this Thursday (21) the new version of its ranking of football teams, following the games played in the last FIFA Data. And Brazil remained in third place after victories over Bolivia and Peru in the South American Qualifiers. The leadership belongs to current world champion Argentina, which is followed by France.

The Brazilian team maintained its place in the rankings after the 5-1 victories over Bolivia and 1-0 over Peru. The new era of the Canarian team, now led by coach Fernando Diniz, tries to revive Brazil’s golden era in the national team world cups, a competition that the team last won in 2002.
At the moment, Brazil has 1,837.61 points, remaining behind France (1,840.76). Argentina was at 1,851.41 and increased its advantage at the top of the rankings. The top 10 is completed by teams from England, Belgium, Croatia, Holland, Portugal, Italy and Spain.
The Brazilian team’s next commitments are the games, in the South American Qualifiers, against Venezuela, on October 12th at the Arena Pantanal, and against Uruguay, on October 17th at the Centenário Stadium.
