In the duel against the Belgians, Brazil sought to recover emotionally after losing a game that took place hours after the news of the death of former player Walewska, who was a teammate of several members of the current group.

This Saturday, Brazil made the game easy, giving their opponents no chance, making it 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20 in an hour and 19 minutes of duel. Brazilian Gabi was the highest scorer of the match: 19 points.
