Federal deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSol-SP) informed, this Thursday (13), that he will no longer be the rapporteur of the mixed commission that analyzes the provisional measure to relaunch the Minha Casa, Minha Vida housing program. He had announced the rapporteurship of the proposal, last Tuesday (11), but decided to give up after friction with União Brasil.

The resolution of the conflict was discussed at a meeting between the leaders in the Chamber and the President of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), this Thursday morning.

After the meeting, the leader of União Brasil in the Chamber, Elmar Nascimento (BA), said that the committee’s rapporteur will be deputy Fernando Marangoni (SP). Boulos, on the other hand, will be the vice-president of the collegiate, as provided for in the agreement. Senator Eduardo Braga (MDB-AM) is the president.

In conversation with journalists, at the end of the meeting, Boulos explained that the conflict was caused by a failure in communication. “There was a problem of misunderstanding, of information, and precisely to be able to make understanding viable, the commitment for the commission to move forward, there was an agreement”, he said.
