The work seeks to reflect on how Brazil wastes potential

Manaus (AM) — The book “Brazil, what country is this?” will have a special launch on March 26th, in Manaus. The event is supported by the Union of State Tax Auditors of the State of Amazonas (Sindifisco-AM) and will take place in the Naíde Lins Auditorium, in Unit 2 of Fametro College, at 7pm.

Written by jurist and professor Ives Gandra da Silva Martins and engineer, businessman and former vice-governor of Amazonas, Samuel Hanan, the work seeks to reflect on how Brazil wastes potential, the result of conversations and research by the authors on problems that have affected the country, especially since the end of the last century.

“Because we believe that the country has everything to grow, as long as those responsible for the nation think more about it than their own interests, we bring this small study for reflection”,

Ives said.

For the president of Sindifisco-AM, Ricardo Castro, the launch of the book is an opportunity to debate the direction of Brazil and reflect on the knowledge brought by the authors.

“It is a work that invites us to reflect on Brazil’s challenges and potential, and Sindifisco-AM sees it as an obligation to promote debates and initiatives that contribute to the development and growth of our country. It will be an opportunity to contribute to the debate about the direction of our nation, as well as take advantage of the source of knowledge that the authors present us with in this work”,

concluded.
