The Bodebrown brewery organizes this Saturday (13), the Growler Day special Mother’s Day. The event marks the debut of the Bodebrown Crop 2023 project, which by the end of winter will bring 25 new releases. To inaugurate the project, the launch on Saturday is the Regina Sour Ramboesa beer, which can be found in 300ml glasses (R$25), one liter PET growler (R$45) and 473ml cans (R$25). The event takes place from 9 am to 6 pm and admission is free.
Regina Sour Raspberry is a Berliner Weisse type beer, with notes of medium acidity and an alcohol content of 6.1%. The event will be accompanied by a soundtrack, with a trio formed by the musicians Maurílio Ribeiro (guitar), Mateus Ribeiro (keyboards) and Nelson Damiani (saxophone) from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm, and singer and guitarist Zia Leme from then on.
Stone/Bodebrown Cacau IPA, Mago de Houblon, Perigosa Imperial IPA, Trooper Brasil IPA, Tripel Montfort, Regina Sour and Lupulol Cryopunk in draft beer will also be available on the day. As a one liter growler (R$45), consumers can find Orthobeer, Trooper Brasil IPA, Stone/Bodebrown Cacau IPA and Perigosa Imperial IPA labels.
For the gastronomic part of the event, the food trucks Vive La Crèpe (salty and sweet crepes), Pastelos Food Trucks (pastries) and CWB Food (hamburgers) will be in the parking area. There will also be naturally fermented bread from Fábrika Pães, cheeses, olives, jams, artisanal roasted peanuts from Amendobento and pretzels.
Throughout the 2023 Harvest project, new labels and new brazing will be launched, with emphasis on gastronomic beers with aging potentials ranging from 5 to 25 years. Growler Day will bring weekly news, which includes seven new beers and 17 new editions of existing products. “With this series, we are going to highlight vintage beers that carry specific characteristics of the year they were produced”, says the CEO of Bodebrown, Samuel Cavalcanti.
