Between November 15th and 18th, Fortaleza (CE) will host the 2023 Beach Tennis Federations Cup, held by the Brazilian Tennis Confederation (CBT). The matches will be played at Aterro da Praia de Iracema. The event will take place in an unprecedented way in the Northeast region.
Around 1,500 athletes will be participating in the competition, which can include teams from all Brazilian states. The athletes from Amapá, who are in search of the title, have already been pre-selected for all categories of the competition: Under-14, Under-18, C, B, A, 40+ and 50+.
The matches will be in an eliminatory format. The teams play matches for women’s, men’s and mixed doubles. Whoever wins two victories wins the duel. The title of general champion is won by the state that presents the best performance in all categories, gaining the most points.
