Manaus (AM) – Singer Rodriguinho continues making statements about Isabelle Nogueira, cunhã-poranga of the Garantido ox. During a conversation in the leader’s room, in the early hours of this Saturday (13), the pagodeiro questioned the proximity of the athlete Vinicius Rodrigues to the Amazonian.

In a conversation between Rodriguinho, Vinicius Rodrigues, Nizam and Pizane, the athlete stated that he had affinities with Isabelle. “We like the same ‘stops’, same style. The ‘mess’ is really all the same,” he declared.

On social media, the public criticized the participants’ statements. Rodriguinho had already had negative repercussions on other occasions with statements about Isabelle. During the leader’s targeting, on Thursday (11), the pagodeiro called his cunhã an “Indian” and was later warned by the Amazonian.

“The term ‘India’ is kind of a pejorative term, but the world is understanding that now. When you actually talk about an indigenous person, it is indigenous or native people. Because ‘India’ was when the colonizer arrived in Brazil and wanted to say that we looked like the people of India”,

explained.

Isabelle Nogueira, who entered the program with more than 2 million votes, stands out among Amazonians for giving visibility to the state’s culture and mainly for praising the Parintins Festival.

In a post made on social media, cunhã-poranga’s official profile asked for respect and said that the singer “continues to be xenophobic”, during another conversation in the early hours of Saturday, when criticizing the fact that Isabelle expressed her love for Amazonas.

“This is a portrait of what the North suffers when it is exposed to Brazil. The nuances of prejudice masked in mockery on the part of Rodriguinho represent what many people think, and the stereotypes that point to us”, he declared.

In another publication, the profile took a position on the conversation between the brothers in the leader’s room: “When we have beautiful stories to share, and even better, when we are proud of who we are and where we come from, it’s not a problem to talk about your roots ”.
