Manaus (AM) – Amazonas Shopping prepared a special action for fans of the most famous doll in the world, Barbie. A space with instagrammable scenarios inspired by the character is already working in the mall, as well as children’s workshops and encounters with different versions of Barbie and the Ken doll.

The action marks the cinema premiere of the movie “Barbie”, this Thursday (20). The space at Amazonas Shopping will operate until the 6th of August, on the second floor, next to the Sergio’s store, in the central corridor.

The Marketing manager at Amazonas Shopping, Ivanna Passos, points out that the character crosses generations, from mothers to children, everyone loves Barbie.

“It’s a doll with hundreds of versions that shows children and adults that everyone can dream and be whatever they want. We’re bringing the Barbie universe to the mall, so everyone can enjoy it.”

In the instagrammable spaces, the public will be able to register photos in scenarios with a bedroom, castle, dressing room, among others. On Thursday (20), from 2 pm, cotton candy and balloons will be distributed to children up to 10 years old.

Fans will also be able to meet and take pictures with Barbie and Ken, on Thursday (20), Saturday (22) and Sunday (23), on July 29th and 30th and August 5th and 6th. From 2 pm to 6 pm, the meeting will be with the traditional Barbie and President Barbie versions. From 4 pm to 8 pm, the traditional Barbie and Ken Patinador will be in the space.

Another attraction of the space are the children’s and make-up workshops, which always take place from Thursday to Sunday, from 4 pm to 8 pm.

For those who haven’t purchased a ticket for the movie “Barbie”, the Kinoplex cinema in Amazonas Shopping opened extra sessions. Interested parties can check the schedule and purchase tickets on the website.

In the movie of the most famous doll in the world, the audience will follow the day to day life in Barbieland – the magical world of Barbies, where all versions of the character live in complete harmony and their only concerns are finding the best clothes to go out with their friends and enjoy endless parties. However, one of the dolls, played by actress Margot Robbie, begins to realize that maybe her life is not so perfect, questioning her sense of existence and alarming her companions.

Soon, her life in the pink world begins to change, and eventually, she is kicked out of Barbieland. Forced to live in the real world, Barbie must struggle with the difficulties of not being just a doll anymore – at least she is accompanied by her faithful and beloved Ken, who seems increasingly fascinated by life in the new world. Meanwhile, Barbie struggles to adjust, and has to face many colorful moments, until she discovers that true beauty lies within everyone.
