Due to the high demand for sports schools, the Government of Amapá opened more than a thousand vacancies in various modalities at Ginásio Avertino Ramos and at Centro Didactico Rosa Ataíde, in Macapá.
At Avertino Ramos alone, there are 625 vacancies. This time, in addition to basketball, futsal, functional training, volleyball and yoga, judo and breakdancing classes will be created.
Enrollment starts on Monday (06) and can be done until vacancies are filled. Those interested should go to the gymnasium’s secretariat, located at Rua Cândido Mendes, nº 20, Perpétuo Socorro, from 8am to 12pm.
This is the first time that breakdancing will be offered by the didactic center. Judo also returns after a long period without the modality. Classes are open to different categories, from children to adults.

The Rosa Ataíde Didactic Center also opens registration on Monday (06). There will be 85 vacancies for tennis, 178 for swimming, 80 for water aerobics, 50 for ballet, 25 for pilates and 11 for hydrotherapy, totaling 429 new registrations. New enrollments can be made free of charge at the secretariat of the didactic center, on Rua São José, in the Central district.
In order to register, it is necessary to present an identity card, school statement (in case of a minor), proof of residence, 3×4 photo and proof of vaccination against covid-19.
More sports opportunities
In January, the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure (Sedel), which administers Avertino Ramos, opened another 325 for collective sports, which have already been filled.“Together with the vacancies we opened last month, the number reaches a thousand vacancies that the government opened for Avertino Ramos. I have great expectations for breakdancing, which has been growing in the state and we are ready to help”said the Sports Secretary, Rudney Cunha.
In addition to the new vacancies, Rosa Ataíde has 615 students who have already re-enrolled.
