O Athletico put the commercial building attached to the Ligga Arena up for rent. Since the stadium’s reopening for the 2014 World Cup, the property has never been used by the club. The place had been designed to be the press center during the World Cup, but it was not completed in time.
The property is available for rent through a real estate agency’s website for R$427,980 per month. The site presentation text highlights that the building has six floors in different formats, with potential for adaptation for different segments.

The floors have different sizes: 1st Floor: 1,238 m² (ground floor); 2nd Floor: 1,012 m²; 3rd Floor: 1,395 m²; 4th Floor: 1,395 m²; 5th Floor: 1,395 m² and 6th Floor: 698 m². The amount charged per square meter is R$60.
The presentation of the building also states that the property has an exclusive main entrance via Rua Madre Maria dos Anjos and secondary access via Rua Brasílio Itiberê, with the possibility of internal access to the Ligga Arena and underground parking.
The place was the subject of a dispute with the City Hall
Still in 2015, the City of Curitiba filed a lawsuit asking Athletico to hand over half of the building so that it could be used, for five years, as the headquarters of the Secretariat of Sport and Leisure, after disagreements between the parties following the renovation of the stadium to the world Cup.
Athletico had also committed, together with Hospital Pequeno Príncipe, to transform a space in the stadium into outpatient clinics for child care through the SUS. But the promise was never fulfilled.
Only at the end of last year, the club reached an agreement with the municipality to be able to commercially explore the site. The property was in court together with the expropriations of the stadium. Athletico is paying off around R$32.9 million related to expropriations, in 40 installments, and paid R$3.2 million for the building. The last imbroglio regarding the Ligga Arena was resolved in July, with the new Tripartite Agreement.
