In its 115th edition, the first in 2023, Shooto Brasil starts its new season this Friday, with two title disputes and a new belt: Mauricio Almeida and Cleiver Fernandes dispute the bantamweight crown; and Klebão Tavares and André “Bebessauro” Vieira duel for the heavyweight division.
The four contenders for the belts confirmed their disputes when they went through the scales at the official weigh-in held this Thursday.
Protagonists of the edition, Klebão Tavares and André Vieira, “Bebessauro”, conquered the chance to fight for the heavyweight belt by winning their last fights. This Friday’s winner will finally receive the crown of Shooto Brasil.
Before that, in the penultimate fight of the night, Cleiver Fernandes and Mauricio Almeida face off against Mauricio Almeida.
In the recovery phase after a setback in Russia, Guilherme Doin returns to the Shooto Brasil cage. In search of another victory in the organization, the man from Curitiba based in Rio will face Samuel “Caveira” Silva, who is coming off a knockout victory over Bruno Sá.
Shooto Brasil 115 will be broadcast live on Youtube. The preliminary card starts at 7:30 pm and the main one, at 9:00 pm, on UFC Fight Pass.
