Atem expands presence in the Center-West with the brand’s first location in Goiás

Unit under the banner of the Amazonian distributor is located in the city of Rio Verde, in a strategic region for agribusiness

Recognized as the best regional fuel distributor in the state of Goiás in an award given at the 37th National Convention of the National Union of Transporters, Dealers, Retailers (TRR), Distribuidora Atem expands its presence in the Brazilian Center-West, with the opening this week , the first gas station with the Amazon brand flag in the state.

“It is a strategic expansion in the Center-West region of the country. Atem already operates with two distribution bases in the state of Goiás, but this is the first fuel sales station under our banner, which reaches the municipality of Rio Verde, which is the heart of Goiás’ agribusiness”, highlighted the Commercial Director of Distribuidora Atem, Alexandre Ferreira.

The largest exporter in the state of Goiás, Rio Verde has the second largest grain production in the country and is the 4th municipality in the country with the highest value added to agriculture.

The new Atem station is located on Avenida Pauzanes de Carvalho, in the Setor Pauzanes neighborhood, a street with a large number of companies linked to the supply of inputs for agribusiness. The avenue is also the main access to the GO-174 highway, which connects the cities of Rio Verde and Montividiu in Goiás.

“It is the municipality of agribusiness and Atem strengthens its presence in this segment, showing the quality of the fuel we produce and our ability to serve businesspeople, guaranteeing energy security for the development of the economy”, said Atem’s Commercial Advisor in Goiás, Fernando Paiva.

Across the country, Distribuidora Atem has more than 350 licensed stations. Within the commercial expansion planning, other important openings took place this year in Pará, with the opening of stations in the cities of Marituba and Conceição do Araguaia.

In Goiás, a new dealership will be opened in the city of Sanclerlândia. “We have other businesses underway in Goiás and other Brazilian states”, said Alexandre Ferreira.

Named Posto Florestal, the new establishment under the Atem banner will operate from 5am to 10pm, offering consumers fuels such as gasoline, ethanol and diesel. In addition to the pumps to assist drivers, the commercial complex also has a snack bar and services for drivers, such as tire inflation.
