Appointed new president of the Special Commission for the former Territories of Amapá, Rondônia and Roraima – News of Brazil

João Cândido de Arruda Falcão was appointed as the new president of the Special Commission for the former Federal Territories of Rondônia, Amapá and Roraima (CEEXT), member of the Personnel Management and Labor Relations Secretariat of the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI). With more than 28 years of experience in the Federal Executive Branch, 23 of them in the area of People Management, Cândido assumes the Commission responsible for evaluating and judging, based on the current legislation, all requests for transposition of the servants of the extinct federal territories for the framework of the Union.
Bachelor of Laws, Cândido worked from 2003 to 2016 with the transposition, as General Coordinator of People Management at the Ministry of Finance and, later, until 2018, in the position of General Coordinator of Norms for Public, Military and Extinct Territories, at the Personnel Management Secretariat of the Ministry of Planning.
Priorities
At this time, the work of the Special Commission for the Former Federal Territories of Rondônia, Roraima and Amapá, according to the new president, will be to assess the technical and legal compliance of the minutes that were published during the electoral closure period, as well as the processes which are pending analysis and judgment, for subsequent publication.
According to the Ministry of Management, led by Minister Esther Dewck, the revisions and new analyzes are in line with what is determined by Ordinance SGP/SEDGG/ME 8298, of September 15, 2022 and Ordinance SGP/SEDGG/ME 5815, of July 1, 2022, as well as complying with the recommendations contained in Judgment 1373/2022 – TCU – Plenary.
“CEEXT will make every effort to review or analyze the processes of transposition of civil servants who exercised police functions in the Former Territories; those whose interested parties held only positions of trust or commissioned positions in the direct Public Administration, including municipal ones; and those who presented requests for option to fit into the career of Planning and Budget and the career of Finance and Control, in a framework in extinction of the Federal Public Administration”, says Jo&atil de;o Cândido.
According to the new president, as soon as these documents are reviewed and the due legal compliance is attested, CEEXT will promote the edition of new acts of inclusion in the framework of the Federal Public Administration, of agents from the former Federal Territories of Rondônia, Roraima and Amapá. The classification of these applicants is only carried out after meeting the internal procedural rites and the due procedural instruction necessary to guarantee the legal compliance of the act, according to Decree 10.020, of September 17, 2019. In addition, there must be consent and supervision of the Personnel Management and Labor Relations Secretariat of the MGI.
