The change in value will be valid from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024
The National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS) announced a maximum readjustment of 9.63% in the price of individual health plans, during the morning of Monday (12). The agency reported that the change will be valid from May 1, 2023 (retroactive) until April 30, 2024.
It is worth mentioning that the readjustment is valid for medical and hospital plans contracted from January 1999 or that were adapted to the new legislation (Law nº 9.656/98).
The increase in the value of the health plan is charged by the companies when the plans complete one year of the service contract. In addition to the monthly adjustment, the payment slips for the following months as of May (July, August) will include compensation that was not paid in the previous 60 days.
