Anielle’s advisor criticizes SP and Flamengo fans – 09/25/2023 – Panel

The head of the special advisor to Minister Anielle Franco (Racial Equality), Marcelle Decothé, made posts on a social network criticizing the São Paulo fans, the Flamengo board and the Federal Police this Sunday (24) at the Morumbi stadium, during the final of the Brazilian Cup.

She accompanied the minister, who was there to launch an action against racism at the match.

Decothé’s posts were made on her private profile on a social network. Flamengo fan, Anielle’s advisor criticizes São Paulo fans in one of them using neutral language. She says she is “a white fan, who doesn’t sing, descended from naughty Europeans…”. In the same post, she adds: “everything in São Paulo is worse.”

She also declares her love for Flamengo, saying that, “independent of the fascist board, dos pau no koo [sic] who thinks he deserves to wear this club’s shirt, forever Flamengo.”

In another post, she says she is entering the stadium in a Federal Police car and adds: “Horrible death.”

Another photo shows Decothé next to a colleague from the consultancy, Tábata Maria Alves Matheus, showing the middle finger to the camera.

In a statement, the Ministry of Racial Equality said it had opened an investigation to investigate the conduct of the employees.

“The ministry declares that it has received information regarding the posting of public servants on a private social media profile and that, even though the posts were made in a moment of relaxation, outside of institutional rites and of an informal tone, the case will be submitted to the authorities internal investigation to investigate the conduct of civil servants”.
