Amazonas, through the State Board of Trade (Jucea), was the fastest state in the country to open companies in June. In all, between feasibility and registration, the entrepreneur takes an average time of 7 hours and 3 minutes to open a new business in the local market.

The information is from the monthly panel of the Map of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services. Previously, Amazonas was in second place in the country, with an average time of eight hours to open a new business.

For the president of the municipality, Maria de Jesus Lins, despite the constant change in statistics, it is a great achievement, as well as a historical fact for Amazonas, the first place.

“This achievement for Amazonas is the result of a whole team work, developed by Jucea with the bodies integrated to RedeSim and with the city halls in the interior of the state. And we will continue working to optimize the analysis of registration processes as much as possible, to consolidate our state as a leader in entrepreneurship in the country”,

pointed out Maria de Jesus.

Analysis

The bulletin evaluates the municipalities that are part of the National Network for Simplifying the Registration and Legalization of Companies and Businesses (Redesim), and computing the time that the integrated bodies analyze the requests for viability of the business name and address, and the processing of registration data at the Boards of Trade and tax registration bodies. In the case of Amazonas, all 62 municipalities are integrated into Redesim.

Still according to the Map, the time that the citizen takes to present the documentation to the public agencies between the stages of the process is not considered.

Requests for business permits and licenses and Individual Microentrepreneur (MEI) registrations are also not computed. It should be noted that permits and licenses are waived for companies carrying out activities considered to be low risk.
