The game
In a balanced start to the game, the most dangerous first arrival was in the 15th minute, when Léo Itaperuna received the ball on the right, pulled it into the middle and finished low for Edson Marden to make the save. In the next minute, Gabriel Henrique took a corner kick in the area and Fernando Monteiro tested firmly into the goal, opening the scoring for Parintins.
After the goal conceded, Amazonas continued with more possession of the ball, but without being able to create scoring chances. Until the 34th minute, Rafael Tavares launched William Barbio into the area and the number 19 headed the ball to Laércio, who finished first time, but Robert made the save and prevented Onça’s equalizer. At 49, Parintins’ defense failed and the ball was cleared for Sassá, who in front of the goal, stopped at goalkeeper Robert, saving Tourão once again.
In the second stage, after minutes of little creativity and no clear chance of scoring, Amazonas went in search of a draw. In the 32nd minute, Xavier took a low free kick, the ball deflected halfway and went out for a corner. Afterwards, after a charge into the area, the ball was live and Sassá completed it into the back of the goal.
At 38, it was Tourão’s turn to arrive in danger. Emerson Vagalume received it on the right, pulled it into the middle and finished, but Mardden made the save without a rebound. Four minutes later, Onça responded with Xavier, who finished low and the ball went dangerously out.
At 47, it was Renan Castro’s turn to move to the middle and try from outside, but Robert made the save. Two minutes later, a cross from the right and Sassá, free, headed the ball over the goal. In the 52nd minute, Renan received the ball on the left and crossed into the area, the ball was alive and Sassá finished left-handed, but the ball hit the post and insisted on not going in.
