Announcement reveals the team’s new reinforcements as a defender, winger and striker
Manaus (AM) – Amazonas FC made three signings official for the 2024 squad, they are left-back Bruno Dip, defender and ex-Paysandu (PA), Wellington Carvalho, and striker and ex-Nacional (AM), João Normando, the ‘ Ceará’. In total, 19 names have already been confirmed to play for the team next season.
Meet the reinforcements
Bruno Dip Rapanelli was born in São Paulo and is 25 years old. The left-back played for the teams Corinthians-SP and São Paulo-SP, in addition to having played for Atlético Goianiense-GO, Vila Nova-GO, Sered-ESL, Penapolense-SP, Camboriú-SC, Juventus Jaraguá-SC, Monte Azul-SP and Operário-MS, the club for which he competed in this year’s Series D.
At 30 years old and born in Duque de Caxias (RJ), Wellington Carvalho dos Santos played for Fluminense-RJ, Ceará-CE, Tombense-MG, CRB-AL, Ponte Preta-SP, Coritiba-PR and Bali United-IND. On his return to Brazil, he defended Paysandu in the Series C of the Brazilian Championship and was a starter in the three duels between Aurinegros and Bicolores in the competition.
Born in Pedra Branca (CE), Francisco Olivan Bezerra Calíope, Ceará, is 26 years old. In his career, he wore the shirts of Fortaleza-CE, Oeste-SP, Treze-PB, São Paulo-SP, Criciúma-SC, Al-Najma-BAR, Al-Muharraq-BAR, Al Nasr Benghazi-LIB, Campinense-PB and Botafogo-PB. This year, for Nacional-AM, they faced Aurinegro in the Barezão semifinals.
Onça returns to the field in January, to compete in the State Championship. On the 21st, at 3:30 pm, the team led by coach Luizinho Vieira faces Manauara, at the Carlos Zamith stadium. In addition to Barezão, Aurinegro will compete, for the first time, in the Green and Brazilian Cups, in addition to Series B. Before that, the squad will do pre-season at CT do Retrô, in Camaragibe (PE), metropolitan region of Recife, do the 1st until the eve of the first game of the year.
