Amapá has already won two medals (silver and bronze) at the Brazilian University Games (JUBs) Praia, in São Luís, Maranhão. The competition continues until Sunday (30) with expectations of more podiums.
The bronze medal was won in skate street by the undergraduate student in History, Gabriel Miranda. The silver came with the Physical Education academic, Paloma Araújo, in the Cross Training modality. Both are from the Federal University of Amapá (Unifap).
The delegation from Amapá took a total of 56 people, including directors, physiotherapists, coaches and athletes. The student athletes are from the Federal University of Amapá (Unifap), Federal Institute of Amapá (Ifap) and Unip-Macapá, competing in nine modalities for men, women and mixed.

The Brazilian University Games (JUBs) – Praia are organized by the Brazilian Confederation of University Sports (CBDU) and serve as qualifiers for the South American University Games and the World University Games.
