Amapá will host, next Saturday and Sunday, the 9th and 10th, the North and Northeast Jiu-Jitsu Circuit, the Neebjj. The martial competition, which has been taking place for over 20 years, will have the Avertino Ramos Gymnasium as the venue for the disputes.
A total of up to R$ 30,000 in prizes is expected to be awarded. The president of the Amapaense Jiu-Jitsu Federation (Fejja), which brought the competition to tucuju soil, informed that the dispute will also feature foreign athletes.
“We have already confirmed the participation of athletes from outside Amapá. In addition to the states in the North and Northeast regions, we have confirmation of athletes from Suriname, French Guiana and British Guiana”he said Vitor Santos, president of Fejja.
The competition involves disputes in the male and female segments, from the youth category to the master category. For the first time, the youth blue categories up to the female master will receive an award of R$ 1 thousand.
