Amapá increases the number of tourism professionals registered with Cadastur by 20% – News of Brazil

With encouragement from the Government of Amapá, the regularization of tourism professionals on the Registration of Tourist Service Providers platform (Cadastur) grew more than 20% during the last year. With 317 new registrations registered, the informative work on the importance of registration, carried out by the State Secretariat for Tourism (Setur), reached professionals from 16 municipalities.
The tool relies on self-declaration by entrepreneurs and is developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism. Cadastur plays a fundamental role in certifying the regularity of individuals and legal entities operating in the sector. With national coverage, Cadastur promotes the ordering, formalization and legalization of service providers in Brazil.
Registration brings advantages to businesses, as they make their establishments more visible to tourists. Secretary of State for Tourism Anne Monte highlighted that the increase in registered professionals allows the Government to develop more effective public policies with accurate information, boosting even more tourist activity.
“In this way, we are able to offer secure research tools on a variety of locations and services, such as hotel chains, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. We work intensely in a continuous effort to raise awareness among professionals in all municipalities about the need to register.”explained the secretary.
The Government also included direct support for entrepreneurs in the registration process, offering technical support and guidance necessary for registration. The increase in registrations in Cadastur represents not only more legalized professionals, but also the development and visibility of Amapá’s tourism potential.

Registration is free and mandatory for accommodation companies, tourism agencies, tourist transport companies, event organizers, theme parks, tourist camps and tour guides.
To register, the worker must access the Cadastur registration form, available here. To access, you must log in with your gov.br account and choose the activity performed.
After filling out the electronic form and signing the Electronic Term of Responsibility, the result is approved within five days. The document that ensures the regularity of services is valid for two years in the case of legal entities, and five years for tourist guides.
