Manaus (AM) – With the aim of bringing together and promoting groups dedicated to singing, the 8th edition of the Festival Amazonas de Corais (Famcor) begins this Thursday, September 28th, at Teatro Amazonas. The event brings together groups such as the Myrá Yiá Indigenous Choir, the Amazonas Choir and the French Alliance Choir, among others. The State University of Amazonas (UEA) will host the opening of Famcor on September 28th, at 7pm. The event will be at the UEA Rectory. The Festival program will be at Teatro Amazonas and the closing ceremony will be held at First Baptist Church of Manaus, on Avenida Joaquim Nabuco, Centro.
