The Advocacy-General of the Union (AGU) sent official letters to states and municipalities to demand measures against eight civil servants mentioned in the investigations that investigate the participation in the acts of January 8, in Brasília, between the instigators and the executors.
In the documents, the AGU indicates that the servers are allocated in the government of the state of Mato Grosso, in the general command of the Military Police of São Paulo and in the prefectures of Americana (SP), Barreiras (BA), Belo Horizonte (MG), Paulo Freitas (PR) and Paty do Alferes (RJ).
Also according to the agency, the procedure is in progress and new letters may be forwarded soon “if it is found that other defendants in the actions are part of state governments or municipal governments”.
At the federal level, an eighth letter was sent to the General Command of the Navy to communicate that the military Marco Antonio Braga Caldas is also a defendant in a public civil action filed by the Union against the headquarters of the Three Powers.
The Comptroller General of the Union has investigated the participation of federal employees in the acts and recommended that ministries and federal entities adopt the appropriate administrative measures.
