Agency’s technical team started itinerant action in Presidente Figueiredo

The Amazonas Sustainable Development Agency (ADS) started in Presidente Figueiredo, this weekend, the action to re-register producers from the State Government Regional Product Fairs. The itinerant action is carried out annually and aims to verify the regularity of the accredited, in addition to providing guidance on public policies aimed at the primary sector.

In addition to the registration, producers interested in participating in the programs carried out by ADS were able to obtain information about the + Crédito Amazonas Feirantes program, carried out in partnership with the Amazonas State Development Agency (Afeam) and about the open public notices of Onerous Donation of Packaging and Aerators.

The Agency technician, Andréa Ribeiro, who was accompanied by the representative of the local fair. “The activity will be carried out throughout this month, and the next destinations will still be lined up. This action is carried out every year and aims to keep the fairgrounds regularized, according to the ADS Fair Regulations”, she said.

Among the available programs that can be accessed by all rural producers in Amazonas, accredited by the ADS, is the onerous donation program. Items such as packaging for transporting and storing products from family farming, aerators for fish farming and wooden boxes for raising stingless bees can be purchased with a subsidy of up to 90%.

The +Crédito Amazonas Feirantes program, made available by Afeam, offers financing for working capital and fixed investments to Individuals who carry out activities at fairs. The objective is to help with the main expenses/operating costs necessary for the implementation, maintenance, expansion and modernization of the productive activity.

In addition, credit can also be used to purchase machinery and equipment, furniture and fixtures, among others, to increase productivity with sustainability.

Fair in Presidente Figueiredo

With around 120 registered producers, the Presidente Figueiredo Regional Products Fair is open on Saturdays, from 8 am to noon, at Rua Itaúba, s/n°, Morada do Sol neighborhood, and is in addition to the other 36 editions in the municipalities of interior of the state.
