The Second Division of the Paranaense Championship will be broadcast on open TV. The Paraná Football Federation (FPF) partnered with TV Paraná Tourism to broadcast two competition games per round. The other matches will be broadcast on the entity’s YouTube channel.
The games that will be shown on open TV in the first round have not yet been defined, but the tendency is for Andraus x Grêmio Maringá, on Saturday (29), and Paraná Club x Toledo, on Sunday (30). The partnership will be sponsored by Sanepar.
“It will be a great championship, with renowned and traditional clubs that have been preparing for some months, and the broadcast on TV Paraná Tourism is of paramount importance for the clubs, which will be able to deliver more to their sponsors and fans”, said the President of the FPF, recently sworn in, Hélio Cury Filho.
The most traditional club in the Access Division, Paraná Clube trusts that the broadcasts will help bring the team closer to the fans, who are punished from seeing Tricolor for five games as principal.
“Paranaense’s Serie B is complicated, especially because we are going to play five games of punishment behind closed doors. So, the visibility given by TV helps bring the club closer to our greatest asset, which is the fans”, declared president Rubens Ferreira.
In addition to Paraná Clube, Andraus, Apucarana, Araucária, Grêmio Maringá, Iguaçu de União da Vitória, Laranja Mecânica, Patriotas, PSTC and Toledo will participate in the tournament.
