The confusion happened after Verdão’s 1-1 draw with Atlético-MG
The coach of Palmeiras, Abel Ferreira, was judged and punished with a suspension game by the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD), this Tuesday (27), for having taken the cell phone from the hand of a journalist in a confusion after the Verdão draw 1-1 with Atlético-MG, for the eighth round of the Brazilian Championship.
Ferreira was judged for being framed in article 258 of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice (CBJD), which deals with “assuming any conduct contrary to sports discipline and ethics”.

The coach took the cell phone from the hands of a journalist from Rede Globo de Minas, who was filming a discussion between the director of football for the São Paulo team and the referee of the match, Ronei Cândido Alves.
