Casa de Antonia is one of my favorite addresses today. A place to have a drink at any time of the day accompanied by delicious and varied snacks. Also suitable for a mid-work lunch or dinner with friends.
The restaurant opens at breakfast and continues until the evening, without interruptions, including on Saturdays and Sundays. And it’s still in Paulista, in Conjunto Nacional. In other words, after that Sunday walk along the avenue, it is the perfect destination for relaxing at the comfortable tables in the lounge. I already went there to have a drink and it was a moment of great joy. I recommend. It’s hard to resist the counter full of sweets.

What: Casa de Antônia came from Curitiba by chef Andrea Vieira and makes classic cuisine but with an original touch in each dish. The house is famous for its pies, and it lives up to its variety of flavors, including one with shrimp bobó topped with dendê flour. But there are also dishes with pasta, meat, poultry and fish.

Eat: the Pot Pie (R$52) features meat slowly cooked in beer covered in puff pastry. The seafood in marinara sauce (R$42) is also delicious. But my addiction is the house fries (R$ 32): fries that are so thin and delicate, and they arrive accompanied by beetroot mayonnaise.

Drinks: highlight is the signature cocktail menu, with well-made options that suit all palates, with drinks ranging from dry to sweet. A highlight is the excellent Pagu (R$40), made with cachaça, Sicilian lemon, elderflower syrup, basilica and absinthe. The Suassuna (R$42) also enchants with its composition of Jerez & chamomile, vermouth, Gin, Licor 43 and cocoa bitters.

Where: Conjunto Nacional, on Av. Paulista, 2073, Cerqueira César. Access is via Livraria Cultura, but an independent entrance should soon be opened via Alameda Santos.
