The Minister President of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), Minister Alexandre de Moraes, said this Wednesday (8) that the Judiciary will remain firm in defending the Constitution and democracy. A month ago, acts of vandalism took place in Brasilia with the invasion and depredation of the National Congress, the Planalto Palace and the Federal Supreme Court (STF).

“The Judiciary will remain firm and fair in defending the Constitution and the Democratic State of Law”, said Moraes in the twitter. The minister shared a video of the #Unshaken Democracy campaign carried out by the Electoral Court.

Earlier, the President of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Minister Rosa Weber, said that the date “will always be remembered so that it never happens again”. “The national communion around the nuclear and non-derogable principle that privileges and consecrates democracy among us remains strengthened, which cannot, absolutely, suffer any transgression”, said the minister.
